Buyer Information

Your goal is to save a few dollars and get the best deal on a good quality used piece of treasure hunting gear quick and to get the best deal possible.  Our goal is to help you do that.  We ask that you follow some basic guidelines to make that easier for everyone involved.

Since this transaction is between you and a seller on our site, everyone needs to work together to make sure everyone involved has a positive outcome. This involves some work on your part to make sure you:

  1. Be available to receive the package when it arrives.  You will receive tracking information.  Make certain someone is there to receive the package to avoid any porch theft.  UsedDetectors.com nor any Sellers on the site are responsible for package theft.
  2. Immediately open any packages and inspect the contents for everything included in the listing.  If you have a dispute you need to immediately reach out to the Seller or UsedDetectors.com to begin the return process.
  3. Do not discard the box or any of the contents of packages you receive.  If you need to initiate a return, you may need this stuff.  

Buyers Rights

Funds are not dispersed to Sellers for at least 15-days from the date the product is received.  So, your money is safe as long as you act within the allotted timeframe.  

Buyers on UsedDetector.com have 7-days from the date of RECEIPT of package to inspect their order and it's contents.  Within this period unsatisfied Buyers can request a refund.  Buyers will be responsible for sending the item(s) back to the seller in its original condition within 10-days of receipt (i.e. you have 3 days to get it in the mail after requesting a refund) at the Buyer's expense.  Upon return the Seller and approval funds, minus and shipping fees or expenses, will be refunded to the buyer.

After 15-days with no Seller-Buyer disputes, funds will be released to the seller and the sale shall be considered final.  The resolution to any disputes between Buyers and Sellers shall be settled by UsedDetectors.com administrators in a manner it deems fair and appropriate.

What is the process of returning items if I am not satisfied?

If you are not satisfied with the transaction you can CONTACT US to initiate a dispute.  We will contact the Seller and see if a mutual resolution can be found.  If it cannot the Buyer can request a refund.  

At this point the Buyer will need to act quickly to package everything up and send it back to the seller (within 10 days of receipt).  Tracking information must be provided to the Seller once the return package has been sent.  The seller will then be notified and required to confirm the package's receipt.

Upon return the Seller has 3-days to contact us and confirm receipt of the item.  Once satisfactory receipt by the Seller is received, a refund will be initiated to the Buyer.

Both Buyers & Sellers agree that any shipping costs or fees incurred by UsedDetectors.com or its affiliates will be withheld from any funds involved in the transaction regardless of which party incurs them.
