Our ultimate goal is for buyers and sellers to walk away from their transaction satisfied.  Although we typically get exactly that, unfortunately it is not always the case.  

Many of our customers have used us multiple times to sell equipment and they know us well. We have sold hundreds of used metal detectors and other supplies over the years and can confidently say each and everyone of them left satisfied with their purchase.  We typically know or get to know each person within the transaction. With the launch of this new market place, we will not know the integrity of each and every seller or buyer.

Bear in mind, when purchasing something from a stranger online, there is always a certain amount of risk involved.  One of the reasons we put this marketplace together is to help provide a security layer as a buffer to help make sure everyone is a bit more protected.  Here is what we do to try to make that happen:

1. 100% PCI Compliant Website - All payments are processed through SSL encrypted payment systems.  Your data is secure.
2. Screened Sellers - Each and every individual that sells on UsedDetectors.com is pre-screened for legitimacy.  Anyone suspected of being a scammer will be blocked and barred from the site.
3. Screened Product Listings - Each and every listing is reviewed  by admin before it is approved.  If the listing is incomplete or not accurate we will contact the seller to fix it before approving the listing.
4. Return & Refund Policies - We have outlined the return and refund policies so they are clear and concise.  As long as everyone in the transaction is diligent in getting packages shipped and inspected unsatisfied buyers are sellers protected.
5. Dispute Resolution - Funds are held from the transaction for 15 days or until the sale has been confirmed as complete by both the buyer and seller.  During this time, we will work with buyers and seller to help them come to a mutually beneficial arrangement and ensure the funds and property make it to the rightful party.
